The Story of Me

Elle Barker is an Independent Civil Celebrant based in Ledbury, offering her personalised services to couples and individuals around the country and internationally.  Whatever manner of ceremony you are looking for, be it a funeral, a wedding, a renewal of vows, or any other, Elle will ensure it goes off without a hitch. She will work with you to design a service that fits your personality, requirements and beliefs.  She also provides a speech writing service so, if you’re having trouble with what to say on the big day, she can help you there too. My Background

Elle previously worked as a barrister and, more recently, as a parliamentary briefing manager, writing speeches and briefings for government ministers within the UK parliament. Her public speaking experience and writing skills, gained from these careers, have laid the perfect foundation for her to provide seamless, professional and detailed delivery on the day. Her transition to becoming a Ledbury-based independent celebrant allows Elle to combine these skills with the deep passion she has for helping others at their time of need. She is perceptive and has a great deal of compassion, humour and empathy which, combined with her professional background, allows her to create an unforgettable and perfect package for you.

The great thing about celebrancy is that there are no organisational boundaries defining what you can and can’t include, offering real flexibility.  As an Independent Civil Celebrant based in Ledbury, serving all locations, Elle can devise a ceremony based entirely on your preferences and wishes. Your ceremony should reflect who you are.

Every element of the ceremony is designed around your story and the personalities of the people who matter. She’ll ensure that every aspect tells your story, your way. Whether you are religious or non-religious, she will ensure that the ceremony reflects exactly the right measure of content and so, if religious content is required, whatever the faith, that can be included. Elle will be able to design a personalised ceremony incorporating everything which is important to you and your loved ones.
